This release marks the long awaited follow up to Stagediver’s debut 7” on Radiograffiti and the end of our two-year hiatus. Four years in the making, this new two track vinyl features a similar proggy song structure found on his debut “I” (RGV-001), while taking undead “trailing-edge” technology to brand new heights.

Completely side-stepping the EDM movement altogether, this release is not party music for party people. Sonically it could be described as a lawsuit-worthy, wall of broken genres. Technically it could be described as a how-to in lo-fi music programming. No matter where you stand, there’s no denying II’s ambitious goal of carving a new niche in 2013. All genres are equally dissected/resented here. This is a new sound.

Programmed on an Amiga 600.
Social isolation by way of obsolete technology.
Physical purchase includes: large sticker of cover design and text file (immediate) with link to Octamed Soundstudio source files for use on the Amiga line of computers + audio remix stems for use in your DAW of choice. Hand-screened/hand-assembled/hand-numbered.

STACIAN from Milwaukee, phasing through different stages of synthesis, amidst gear changes/ originally playing a Casio CA-100 run through a guitar processor, played along with an aps mini-rhythm, and a brief appearance of a Korg Poly 800, all of which are now debunked, STACIAN upgraded in 2010 to a Roland Jupiter 6 and TR606 drumatix to create more vibrant synthpop sounds while maintaining a classic, minimal approach. Recent aquisitions as of spring 2012: Moogerfooger analog ring modulator, Korg Monotribe. After 2 cassette releases in 2010, one a split with Beyond (one half of Chicago’s Deep Earth), other with Chicago’s Unmanned Ship, STACIAN released a solo 7″ on the Moniker label out of Chicago. Both cassette releases are sold out. The 7″ can be purchased at , Permanent Records, and other fine internet establishments.

Darkly entertaining ear sex from the man responsible for this live music series. Influenced by film scores and soundtracks, eclectic rock, left-field electronic music and DJ culture, The Demix unleashes a unique combination of apocalyptic, cinematic, genre-defiant songs and mixes upon your head.
